Consilium Academies won the Innovative Trust Award at the MATA Awards in March 2025 and and has more recently been shortlisted for the Innovative Trust of the Year Award at the Education Today Awards and the Innovation Award at the Education Awards 2026.

This is an incredible achievement for the school and the Trust, showcasing the dedication, creativity, and forward-thinking approach that make these schools such a special place to learn and grow.

Over the past year, under the leadership of Joel Thornton, Director of Infrastructure and Operations, and the dedicated efforts of the IT Services team, the trust has transformed digital infrastructure and technology across its schools, including Consilium Evolve.

Key improvements include upgrading infrastructure and wireless systems, replacing desktops and Chromebooks, investing in modern classroom screens, rolling out cloud-based catering systems, implementing a new helpdesk system, and launching the Consilium Hub staff intranet.

These changes have improved access to learning resources, reduced downtime, and created a more seamless, engaging, and interactive learning environment for students.
